The journal posts last term helped me understand what I thought about a text or reading and actually articulate it. Many times though, the posts weren't really relevant to the class discussion. The class discussions helped me understand the text more fully than the journal posts sometimes. I usually need to discuss something before I can feel comfortable writing about it.
This semester, I hope to define my writing voice even more as well as sharpen my ability to analyze and deconstruct the readings.
I want my posts to be relevant to class discussions and also helpful to anyone who reads them. I also hope my posts and thoughts bring a new light to the text both to myself and to my reader.
Finally, I hope I have fun.
Also that title got Mulan stuck in my head. Thanks self.
